A day at the Beat Swap Meet

In the music world, fashion plays a big role in expressing the individuals taste in music. Dilligence knows that when it comes to creativity and getting inspirational, we'd bump a song that gets the juices flowing with ideas. Music can be very soulful, simple, intricate, filled with deep passionate thoughts, and etc. One's taste in music can tell a lot about that individuals interests and personality. That's why I think others can relate to the concept of our "My Music" tee. The shirt is all about the individuals personal preference in music and what gets them going; not the mainstream stuff. For example, my picks when it comes to my specific activity: I'd choose Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner when I want to relax, become artistic and sketch; Mad Caddies - State of Mind to hype myself up for a skate session, and Wu-Tang - C.R.E.A.M. during a pick-up game of basketball. Odd mix of music genre huh? I guess I'm pretty diverse, but that's what Dilligence is all about; diversity.

When we got invited to be a vendor at the Beat Swap Meet in LA, we were excited to be a part of this gathering. To sum up our time there, we got to meet some very humble people and chill clothing vendors. Here's a slide show of what went on outside of the Beat Swap Meet:

Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of the inside of the event where all the dope old school records, CDs, and DVDs was being displayed by collectors. Overall, it was a good day being surrounded by a great environment of music enthusiasts. A quick shout out to the Dilli-supporters! Well... until next time, so stay tuned!
