Contego’s anticipated Spring/Summer 2011 Collection lands in stores this week. This delivery sees an offering of 12 handcrafted, high quality, acetate frames that take inspiration from older, more traditional silhouettes with a contemporary twist. Naming each of their frames after winners of the Nobel Prize in Literature – Contego continues to look to those men and women who’ve produced “the most outstanding work in an ideal direction” to carve out a niche in the eyewear market. The Morrison (Toni Morrison), Kipling (Rudyard Kipling), Hesse (Hermann Hesse) and Eliot (T.S. Eliot) are each offered in 3 unique colorways for Spring 2011. An online release is scheduled for March 11 via Contegoeyewear.com.
