Kanye was living the high life at the Cannes Film Festival when he got a chance to stroll around in the $1.7 million vehicle. Whether the car is his or he just borrowed it for the day – rich people get to do that – the star sure seemed to fit right into the leather-trimmed interior.
The Mercedes SLS Stirling Moss is powered by a 5.5-liter supercharged V8 from the 722 SLR, which makes 650 hp. Without a windshield, this roadster can still hit a rip-your-face-off top speed of 217 mph. The 0-60 mph sprint can be made in less than 3.5 seconds. With this type of speed and no windscreen or roof, Kanye may need a little more than those dark sunglasses to shield him from the whiplash he’s sure to get when he gets the SLR out on the open road.
